Christmas Irish Cream Chocolate Cake Trifle Dessert Recipe ~

Festive Chocolate Dessert for Christmas Eve!!

Christmas Time is upon US!
As we are counting down the hours now!..
with those Dashes for Last minute Gifts....
Hidden Late Night Present Wrapping...
Assembly Line Cookie Baking & Decorating........
and of course all those last minute Sales Packaged and Shipped!
Yes.. we can Breathe now .AND..It is Time to start the Festivities!!!!!!

Here is a perfect last minute Dessert for your guests and family!
Simple Steps, Easy and Fun and did I say Delicious!?
Bake the Cake Ahead of time and throw the finished dessert together
 Last minute!
Just need a tub of cool whip and grand liqueur from your bar!
Add some Special optional choices of fun toppings you may have on hand
for this Festive Chocolate Trifle!

Irish Cream Chocolate Cake Trifle

1 Pkg Devils Food Cake Mix
1 cup refrigerated Irish Creme nondairy Creamer
or MY SPECIAL Preference
The alcoholic Festive version!
1 cup Bailey's Irish Cream or Kahlua Cream Liqueur
2 pkgs Instant Chocolate Pudding mix
3 1/2 cups cold milk
3 cups whipped topping
Candy bits & pieces







Top with any of these candy or cookie choices!
Heath Candy Bars, Reeses Chocolate Cups, Pepper
Mint Candies,
Oreo Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Pecans
Broken- crushed- toppings!

Recipe Directions~

Prepare and bake cake according to package directions, 

using a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. 
Cool on a wire rack for 1 hour.
With a fork or wooden skewer,

carefully poke holes in cake about 2 in. apart. 
Slowly pour nondairy creamer over cake
or  for the Festive Party goers 
Bailey's Irish Cream Liquor Version~!


Refrigerate for 1 hour.

In a large bowl whisk the milk and pudding mixes for 2 minute.
Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set.

Cut cake into 1-1/2-in. cubes.
place a third of the cubes in a 3-qt. glass bowl. 
Top with a third of the pudding, whipped topping and chopped candies of Choice!
repeat layers twice. 
Store in the refrigerator until Ready to Serve up some Fun

Yield: 16 servings.
